What are Invisible Midwives?
We believe that women give birth and that birth is a family event.
We do not deliver your babies, you give birth to your babies.
We are registered midwives and birthkeepers - guardians appointed by you and your family to bring our skills, experience and knowledge to your birthing just in case they are needed.
We help you to create a safe, welcoming space whether that be in your home or in your chosen hospital, in which your inate ability and birthing physiology can function at its best to bring about the best birth possible for you.
We seek to not disturb your birthing space but to quietly support you and your family to maintain that space allowing you to have an optimal birth that will empower you as you continue to use your instincts throughout your journey through parenthood.
We are grateful to all of the families that have invited us on their birthing journeys. They have all shown us that BIRTH WORKS provided we quietly support the physiology of birth that has been refined over thousands of years. Undisturbed birth is safe birth.
